New Student Registration

Welcome to Evans High School!  We are excited to meet and welcome new members to the Trojan family.  At this time, all registrations are being processed virtually. Please read carefully and follow the steps below to ensure that your registration process is smooth and efficient.  You may also navigate to the OCPS Student Enrollment webpage for all links and information.

The first step in registration is to gather up all the documents needed to complete the process.  Once you send in the required documentation, your files will be evaluated, and we will reach out to let you know if any additional documents are needed.

  • Brand New to Evans (coming from out of county, private or charter)
    1. Verify that Evans is the correct zoned school based on your address:

      • Parent Photo ID
      • Verification of Legal Name (Birth Certificate)
      • Verification of Age (Birth Certificate or Passport)
      • Verification of Immunization (Florida form 680)
      • Physical Exam (within the last year)
      • Verification of Academic History (transcript, withdrawal form, last report card)
      • Verification of Special Education Information (if applicable - IEP, 504 documentation)
      • Verification of your Residence in Orange County (proof of ownership, lease or OCPS Verification of Residence - detail in link above)
      • Verification of Guardianship (see detail in link above)
      • 2020-21 Student Code of Conduct (Print and Sign)
      • 2020-21 Student Dress Code (Print and Sign)
      • Parent Technology Media Consent Form 
    3. Complete all pages of the Registration packet
    4. Once all documents are gathered and filled in
      • Scan or photograph each document
      • Attach all documents to one email and send to [email protected]
      • We will acknowledge receipt, review and respond with any additional documents needed

         

  • Transferring to Evans from another OCPS high school

    1. Reach out to current school to process withdrawal.  Items needed:
      • Parent photo ID
      • Return of all books, electronics and other school materials
      • Sign withdrawal form
      • Complete Student Information Form
    2. Your current school will provide the following documents:
      • Completed withdrawal form with grades
      • Student academic records
      • Copy of birth certificate
      • Request for release of records
    3. One of the following will be needed for address verification
    4. Once all documents are gathered and filled in

      • Scan or photograph each document
      • Attach all documents to one email and send to [email protected]
      • We will acknowledge receipt, review and respond with any additional documents needed
